This is the book I wish I had written.
In 2005, my mother died of renal cancer. Her blood pressure treatment addressed a symptom, but no one asked what was causing it. By the time cancer was diagnosed, the opportunity for a different conversation had passed. The science was not yet available.
Research published in March 2025 explained how aspirin reduces cancer metastasis. It describes TXA2 as a molecular cloak that helps cancer cells evade the immune system while circulating and seeking a new place to settle. Earlier trials pointed toward this effect but could not explain it.
This 2026 Evidence Edition explains the Cambridge mechanism in plain language, the window of vulnerability and why timing matters more than dose, the evidence on bleeding, and aspirin’s connection to NF-κB, an inflammation switch. It also explores a nutritional stack related to the same pathway and gut microbiome, and offers guidance for discussing these questions with your doctor.
This book does not tell you what to do. It offers information and perspective for a conversation and a choice. Claims are referenced, and citations are verifiable.
